TBN Grow
Free email list cleaner
Paste your email list or upload an Excel/CSV file. The tool removes duplicates, invalid addresses, disposable emails and domains that cannot receive mail, and fixes typos like gmial.com. Download the clean list and get fewer bounces.
Your list is processed in your browser and never sent to TBN Grow’s servers. Only domain names (for example company.com) are sent to look up public DNS via Cloudflare 1.1.1.1.
Why clean your email list?
Every message sent to an address that doesn’t exist bounces. Gmail, Outlook and others watch your bounce rate: above roughly 2–5%, you are treated as a low-quality sender and your email lands in spam more often, even for real recipients. Sending services also suspend accounts with high bounce rates. Cleaning your list before sending is the cheapest way to protect your sender reputation.
What does the tool check?
- Invalid: missing @, spaces, double dots, a domain without an extension…
- Duplicates: the same email more than once (case-insensitive). Only the first is kept.
- Domain typos: gmial.com, gmail.con, yaho.com, hotmal.com… corrected when the auto-fix option is on.
- Disposable emails: over 8,800 throwaway email domains (mailinator, 10minutemail…).
- Domains that cannot receive mail: domains that don’t exist or have no mail (MX) record.
- Role addresses: info@, admin@, support@… kept but flagged for you to review.
Limits to know
The tool knows whether a domain accepts mail, but cannot confirm that a specific mailbox (for example jane@company.com) exists. That needs a test send or a paid verification service. After your first send, remove the addresses that bounced; TBN Grow Email Marketing does this automatically.
How to use it
- Paste the list, or upload an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file. For files, pick the column that holds the emails.
- Press Clean the list and wait for the domain check (a 1,000-email list usually takes a few seconds).
- Review the rows that need attention, then download the clean list. The CSV opens in Excel, keeps your other columns and adds a note column.
Frequently asked questions
Is my list stored or sent anywhere?
No. The whole list is processed in your browser. Only domain names (the part after @) are sent to Cloudflare’s public DNS lookup service (1.1.1.1), with Google DNS as a fallback, once per domain. TBN Grow neither receives nor stores your list.
How many emails can I clean at once?
Up to 10,000 per run, so that browsers (including on phones) don’t freeze. Split larger lists into several files.
Should I send to addresses flagged as "Role address"?
It depends. For business customers, info@ may be the only address you have. But these mailboxes are read by several people, get more spam reports, and some services restrict sending to them. If you have the contact’s personal work address, use that instead.
Can I buy an email list and send to it?
You shouldn’t, and it usually breaks the rules. Bought, rented or scraped lists have very high bounce and spam-report rates, and violate the terms of most sending services, including TBN Grow. Only email people who opted in or have done business with you.
Why was a correct email removed as "Domain does not accept mail"?
That domain currently has no mail record; it may have stopped using email or be misconfigured. You can inspect the domain with the Email domain checker. If you are sure the address still works, add it back manually.
